The European Commission has launched "Women TechEU", a support measure aimed at supporting 50 women-led start-ups through mentoring and mentoring to accompany female entrepreneurs on a path of training and business development. The first call for proposals will be launched in June 2021 with the support of the European Innovation Council (EIC). In view of the launch of the call was opened by the EIC Women Leadership Programme (WLP) aimed at women entrepreneurs and innovators to become mentors of future beneficiaries of Women TechEU.
The Horizon Europe programme also pays particular attention to the role of female entrepreneurship, including gender equality among the decisive factors for awarding funding with equal scores for the other criteria.
