Technological and industrial innovation, in July Italy will become Europe’s first Innoprom partner

Technological and industrial innovation will be the focus of 2020 Innoprom edition, its eleventh one, which will be held In Yekaterinburg, Russia, from July 7th through 10th.  Italy will be the guest of honour of the event, which is one of the most important worldwide dedicated to innovation, as partner country. For this reason, Ice, the Agency for the abroad promotion and the internationalization of the Italian enterprise, organises the participation of the Italian companies of the sector. Ice’s initiative follows on the invitation made by the Russian Ministry of Industry through the Italian embassy in Moscow. It will promote the preparation of a 3,000 square meters pavilion dedicated to made in Italy’s innovation, a bilateral governmental forum – for which a visit from a delegation led by a representative of the Italian government is expected – and a series of supporting communicative actions.

Innoprom is an event of extraordinary importance in the exhibitions calendar for the technological innovation applied to industrial production sector. Jointly organised by the Federal Ministry of Industry and by the government of Sverdlovsk’s region, the fair targets Urals’ industrial district in the first place but brings together exhibitors and visitors by the entire Eurasian area. Major Russian business groups of the metallurgical, engineering, energy, automotive, aerospace and means of transport sectors will be present. Particular attention will be devoted to additive technologies, automation and artificial intelligence, with a special focus on “Flexible manufacture”.

In previous editions, partner countries included, among others, China, India, South Korea and Japan; Italy will be the first European partner country. The event is accompanied in each edition by an extensive supporting programme of conferences, seminars and other moments of follow-up meetings, involving government representatives, institutional investors, research and training centres and other relevant stakeholders interested in various ways to the industrial innovation theme in all its forms.
