How many laws, regulations and procedures have accumulated over the years? How many are added day after day?
In the firm conviction that Sardinia's economic rebirth lies principally in the streamlining of procedures and reorganization of regulations which too often represent obstacles for those who wish to set up a business, the regional administration has implemented different initiatives leading to a single objective: simplification.
A permanent regional committee for the simplification of regulations and a technical group invigilate and operate actively to reduce the costs and burdens that persons and companies have to bear on account of bureaucracy.
It is a monitoring operation but especially a strong support for entrepreneurs faced with abrupt and continuous changes in regulations and procedures by providing simple, easy-to-use instruments to improve relationships of public offices with private citizens and companies.
The permanent regional committee for simplification of regulations is coordinated by the president of the region with balanced participation of organizations of the public administration and representatives of the private sector. The permanent members are the regional ministers, representatives of associations of local governments and the local economic and trade-union organizations.
The Technical Group for simplification of regulations and procedures is coordinated by the general manager of the regional Ministry for Industry. The members are managers and functionaries of the regional offices involved; their task is to find obsolete laws or those that can be simplified, and the superimposition of competencies. Theirs is a painstaking task of monitoring, identification and reorganization of everything that does not work so as to simplify the bureaucracy.
The SUAP (one-stop business advisory centre) regional Coordinating Committee of the regional Ministry for Industry is the point of reference of the Technical Group for Simplification.
Fighting bureaucracy and proceeding towards simplification so as to improve Sardinia: today this is possible!
