Women's bonus, full exemption from payments for recruiting disadvantaged female workers

The Inps has issued instructions on how to apply and manage the 'Bonus donne', a measure provided for by the 'Cohesion' decree that exempts employers from paying 100% of their social security contributions for a maximum of 24 months for permanent hirings of disadvantaged female workers made by December 31, 2025.

To apply for the Bonus, the employer must complete the online form, which will be available beginning May 16, 2025, on the page 'Portale delle Agevolazioni (ex DiResCo)', in accordance with the instructions in Inps circular No. 91 of May 12, 2025.

The exemption applies to women of any age who, at the time of recruitment, meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Those who have been unemployed for at least 24 months, regardless of location
  • Those who have been unemployed for at least six months and live in the Special Economic Zone for the Mezzogiorno (Single Economic Zone)
  • Those who work in professions or industries with significant gender employment disparities

The exemption equals 100% of the entire social security contributions payable by employers, excluding INAIL premiums and contributions, up to a monthly limit of 650 euros per female worker.

Private employers, particularly those in agriculture, are eligible for contribution exemptions.
