The Ministry of Agriculture has launched the 2024 edition of the ‘Innovation in Agriculture Fund’, which has a 100 million euros budget to support technological innovation in the agriculture, fishing and aquaculture sectors. In particular, resources will be made available to companies that produce innovative agricultural equipment, as well as for actions aimed to protect Italian farmers. In addition, a share will be reserved for agricultural enterprises that suffered damage from the recent floods.
The process will be managed by Ismea. Accreditation, compilation and pre-validation of applications to access to the subsidies can be carried out from midday on 15 November (the date of opening of the telematic window) until midday on 13 December. The application can instead be submitted from midday on 18 December.
The Fund's resources may be used to purchase machinery and equipment for agriculture, zootechnics, fishing and aquaculture, and will be reserved for companies replacing existing, duly identified equipment.
