The Regional Ministry of Industry, as part of the initiatives to support the stone mining sector envisaged in the three-year regional plan for internationalization, organizes the participation of the island's companies in the sector in “Middle East Stone”, the international fair scheduled in Dubai from 25 to 28 November. The delegation of Italian operators is supported and promoted by the ICE, the Italian Foreign Trade Agency. "Middle East Stone" is the main event of the Middle East and North Africa dedicated to the natural stone, marble and ceramic industry. Every year it attracts suppliers, producers and distributors from all over the world.
A maximum of seven companies will be part of the Italian delegation. Participants must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce in the fields of ornamental and building stone extraction, limestone, gypsum, clay and slate, stone cutting, shaping and finishing, tool manufacturing manually operated and interchangeable parts for machine tools, from the manufacture of mine, quarry and construction machinery. Companies must have a website or be present on social networks with their own information page, must be able to guarantee an electronic response in at least one foreign language, preferably English, and must not be in bankruptcy, liquidation, arrangement with creditors or controlled administration.
The interested companies will have to send an expression of interest and a photocopy of a valid identity document of the owner or legal representative. This documentation must be sent to the certified email industria@pec.regione.sardegna.it, with the subject "Demonstration of Middle East Stone - Dubai (Eau) 25-28 November 2019".
