Craft beer, excise cut of 40%

From 1 July the discount on craft beers is triggered to promote Italian products;with the entry into force of the Decree included in the Budget Law 2019, there will in fact be a 40% reduction in excise duties in order to promote the production ofmicrobrewerieswhich will help to increase the sales of Made inItalybeers.The discount on brewing taxes is of 40% and is applicable to all breweries that fall under the legislative definition of a small independent brewery, producing no more than 10.000 hl per year.

This discount sums up with the further reduction to 2.99 euros of the excise tax per hectolitre and per Plat-degree included in the last Budget Law.
