ICE, the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade organizes the participation of local companies in “Food & Hotel China 2019", the international fair scheduled in Shanghai from 12 to 14 November. It is one of the most important international fairs in the food and agriculture sector in China and Southeast Asia: Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. In 2018 Italian agri-food exports to China reached € 440 million. Wine, with a turnover of 127 million euros, was the most exported product in the Chinese market. The dairy sector, with 33 million euros and olive oil with 27 million euros, together account for 15% of Italian agri-food turnover in China.

Last year, over 3 thousand exhibitors from 48 countries and 120 thousand professional visitors attended the FHC. The main sectors of the agri-food sector are included: meat, cheese, beverages, fish products, fruit and vegetables, olives, wine, bakery, alcohol, beer, tea and coffee.
