ICE, the Italian Foreign Trade Agency, organizes the participation of Italian companies at "Expo Antad & Alimentaria 2019", the main fair of the agro-industrial sector in Mexico, scheduled in Guadalajara from March 5th to the 7th. The fair unites are two events in one, the first, Alimentaria, brings together the Ho.Re.Ca. whilst Expo Antad is dedicated to the modern distribution. Every year, there are 1.500 exhibitors and 45 thousand professional visitors: importers, distributors, restaurateurs, chefs, sommeliers, specialized magazines and cooking academies. In 2018 the international exhibitors were 380. Among the official pavilions were those of Spain, Canada, China, South Korea, Colombia, Argentina and Turkey. The Italian delegation organized by ICE included nine companies.
In the Mexican market, the interest in Italian agri-food products is growing, as their products are considered healthy and of high quality. They are mainly distributed in specialized outlets, gourmet restaurants and hotels. The most important products are: olive oil, wine, pasta, cheese and packaged foods. But Made in Italy products are also affirmed in Mexico in the canning sector, both for private consumption and for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector. This is confirmed by data on trade: in 2017, our exports exceeded 62 million euro, with a 21.5% increase compared to 2016. The trend is confirmed in the first half of 2018, with a 26.7% increase over the same period of 2017.

After registration, ICE will send the confirmation email with instructions for completing the application form, which must be printed, stamped and signed on each page by the legal representative and sent by November 30, 2018 via certified mail to agroindustria@cert.ice.it.
