On September 27th, the Italian Embassy in London will host the event "Sardinia Land of Innovation" organized in collaboration with the ICE, the Italian Trade Agency. The meeting will be introduced by the greetings of the Italian Ambassador H.E. Raffaele Trombetta, and will see the participation of President Francesco Pigliaru who, in his speech, will illustrate the Aria Project, an innovative project on the treatment of underground Argon gas. After that engineer Annamaria Pandelli will present the Space Propulsion Test Facility Project, followed by Professor Massimo Carpinelli, Dean of the University of Sassari, who will illustrate the SAR-GRAV project, aimed at the realization of the first module of the infrastructure of an Einstein telescope.
The presentations will be followed by a speech by President Pigliaru on the innovation and start-up ecosystem in Sardinia and a second round of case study presentations delivered by Giulia Soro (Amazon Web Services), Alessandro Onano (Moneyfarm) and Paola Marinone ( BuzzMyVideos).
The last part of the event includes an elevator pitch session, during which 12 innovative start-ups, selected through a bootcamp by the Italian accelerator in London TechitaliaLab, will deliver short presentations.
